This Modern World

Today I had the privilege of actually speaking to my friend Kathryn for the very first time. We’d been friends and co-mods of a Web community for several years now, but we’ve never actually met or spoken.

Yeah, we’re THOSE kind of friends.

Today she needed a little phone help. To wit: “I need someone to call my cellphone like 8 times in a row, because I’m trying to pick a ringtone and I need to pick one I can hear from across the house.”

Of course, the experiment started early, as I first had to call her phone so she could find it. Huzzah for technology!
